The ICRA 2027 Organizing Committee invites researchers, academics, industry practitioners, and the general public to submit papers, host competitions, and present workshops and tutorials that capture the present and future of robotics.

ICRA 2027 will bring together the world’s top researchers and leading companies to share ideas and advances in Robotics and Automation. Researchers and the general public are encouraged to submit papers that capture the present and the future of robotics. Submissions are due by September 15, 2026.

Call for Workshops and Tutorials
Process overview:
- Workshop/tutorial pre-proposals should be submitted through OpenReview. No separate proposal document is required at this stage;
all required information should be entered directly into the OpenReview submission form. - Full proposals for workshops/tutorials will be submitted in PDF format through PaperPlaza. Submitted full proposals are limited to 5 pages + up to 1 page for response to the pre-proposal comments. Please use [This Template] when preparing your proposal

Call for Competitions - Submission Closed
The Call for Competition submissions for ICRA 2027 has closed. All submissions will be subject to a review process by the Organizing Committee. Acceptance results will be announced on October 31, 2026. Please note that submissions can only be selectively accepted due to limited space.

Call for Arts in Robotics
About
The ICRA Arts in Robotics session will continue showcasing some of the deepest challenges in its respective domains: How technology can push art and how art can enrich what technologies can suggest. Mirroring the overall ICRA’27 theme of building an ecosystem of innovation, this year’s Arts in Robotics theme is collaborative creativity. We encourage the participation of original creative work, with interactive forms of presentation such as demonstrations and multimedia materials.

Call for Community Building Day
About
Advances in Robotics and Automation are meant to benefit the world at large; therefore, we recognize the importance of ensuring that everyone feels welcome in the field of robotics. ICRA 2027 is proud to feature a dedicated Community Building Day in Seoul, South Korea. This year’s Community Building Day aims to highlight the scientific merit of inclusive research environments, foster broad participation, and build global collaborative networks across the robotics community. We invite proposals for interactive sessions, workshops, panel discussions, and networking events led by affinity groups, regional robotics initiatives, accessibility advocates, and community leaders.

Call for Satellite Conference Centers
About
We are inviting IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) Sections and Chapters worldwide to organize local Satellite Conferences alongside ICRA 2027, creating opportunities for their robotics communities to present research, exchange ideas and engage.
Rather than simply hosting streamed sessions, we encourage each Satellite Conference Centre to organize its own local or national robotics conference, including a call for papers, technical presentations and networking activities. These events should take place during 24-28 May 2027 and will be enriched by access to keynote and plenary presentations streamed from ICRA in Seoul.
